The Crystal Meditation Room

A dream realized, The Crystal Meditation Room opened to the public in November of 2006 at The Spiritual Element. This quiet exalted space is home to numerous crystals who invite you to work with them...for healing, for spiritual journeys, or for personal meditations, the crystals await you.

Special lighting is used to augment the magic of this space. Light boxes both colored and white light have been placed under special crystals to amplify their beauty. The crystals themselves surround the room so that one hardly knows where first to look upon entering. There is a sense of exhilaration and serenity simultaneously… wonder and awe concurrently.

Along one wall hangs a print on canvas of “The Ancients Come” by Ann Rothan. She said of this painting, “After throwing color on a large piece of paper the painting dried, this figure appeared in the center, looking like it came from a Nebula explosion in space, putting me on my knees! Every time I started to paint on it, my hair stood on end...the energy was so huge! Soon, what seemed like Sacred Geometry appeared as symbols surrounding the figure. A tall cascading water fall made of ancient grape vines graces one corner. Flying amongst is limbs are small faeries. At its base is a tall amethyst geode with calcite inclusions. The corner has been perceived as a portal to Faerie Realm. For those who have an affinity for that realm, this may be your entrance

Joan Costa’s dream was to create a crystal healing space. She spent many years collecting crystals and metaphysical items, knowing that one day her dream would be realized. In March of 2006 she met Karen Gates and Mary Rini, co-founders of The Spiritual Element. From there, the dream took on new life and became a co-creation effort.

Joan put out a call to her crystals to work in The Crystal Meditation Room. The first to respond was Ar Rhianna. Almost ten years ago, when gifted with this stunning smokey quartz sphere Joan knew this Ancient One crystal would be working with more people in a healing center. When and where had yet to be revealed. Intuitively, she knew that this crystal worked best in the dark under light. It was some time before she found the right light box to support Ar Rhianna’s weight (a hefty 45 lbs) and what she discovered took her breath away.
